Al Haramain Perfumes
Al Haramain has been making perfume since 1970, starting in Saudi Arabia and now working out of the UAE, and it belongs to the older tradition of Gulf perfumery - oud, amber and rose worked heavily rather than sketched.
The Amber Oud family is what the house is known for internationally, and we have a good slice of it. Amber Oud Gold Edition is the well known one, a sweet lemon and amber opening over a deep oud base that lasts absurdly long. Amber Oud Rouge in 120 ml turns fruitier and more candied. Amber Oud Dubai Night appears twice, once as the 2 oz eau de parfum and once as the 3.4 oz extrait de parfum, which is noticeably richer.
The L Aventure line is the other half of the page: the original L Aventure eau de parfum in 100 ml, the darker L Aventure Black, and L Aventure Ciel as a 3.4 oz extrait spray, the coolest and most aquatic of the three.
Nearly everything here is available in 5 ml and 10 ml decants. With scents this strong, that is often all you need for a season.
These do well in Miami heat, where lighter designer scents tend to vanish by lunchtime. Come smell them in Miami Gardens, or order and have them sent to you.
