Alghabra Parfums

Alghabra is a young niche house working out of the Gulf, and it composes in extrait de parfum rather than eau de parfum. The two bottles we carry are both 50 ml extraits, a small format for a very concentrated liquid. You are not meant to empty these quickly.

Cuban Tobacco is the better known of the pair. It does what the name promises: raw tobacco leaf, a little sweetness, and a dry woody backbone, closer to an open humidor than to the cocoa and vanilla tobacco scents that dominate the category. Ancient Fortress goes in the opposite direction - resinous and mineral, with incense and dry woods that suggest stone rather than smoke.

Two products is the honest total here. Alghabra makes a wider range, but this is what is on the shelf, and both are worth the trip if you are the sort of person who reads note lists for fun.

Cuban Tobacco is available in 5 ml and 10 ml decants. Ancient Fortress is full bottle only at the moment.
