Amouage, the House of Oman
Amouage was founded in 1983 at the request of the Omani royal family, with a brief that amounted to: make something worthy of the frankincense that grows in Dhofar. That resin still runs through most of the line, and the house has never really tried to smell European.
Interlude Man is the one that built the reputation - a wall of incense, oregano and leather that people describe either as a smoking ruin or as a masterpiece. We carry both the 100 ml eau de parfum and the newer Interlude 53 Man extrait in its current packaging. Reflection Man goes the other direction entirely: clean iris, rosemary and neroli, one of the most wearable niche fragrances for men ever made. Jubilation XXV is the aged, boozy myrrh one from the twenty fifth anniversary work.
On the shared and women side we have Lustre, Outlands, and Guidance 46, an extrait from the Exceptional Extraits tier that Renaud Salmon has been building since taking over creative direction.
Every bottle here is offered with 5 ml and 10 ml decants. Amouage is a house where that matters, because the openings are frequently nothing like the drydown four hours later.
Available online, and on the shelf at our Miami Gardens store if you would rather smell before you commit.
