Mont Blanc Fragrance
Montblanc has made pens in Hamburg since 1906, and the white star on the cap is a drawing of the mountain snow covered summit seen from above. The fragrance line carries the same idea the Meisterstuck does: solid, unshowy, made to be used rather than displayed.
Legend, in 3.3 oz, anchors everything. Released in 2011 as a fresh fougere with lavender, pineapple, oakmoss and tonka, it became one of the most widely worn scents for men of the decade and still works as a default for almost any situation.
Explorer appears three times over: the standalone bottle, Explorer Ultra Blue in 3.3 oz with its brighter citrus and mineral opening, and a three piece Explorer gift set. Explorer is the vetiver and leather one, warmer and more travelled than Legend. Mont Blanc Signature and Lady Emblem in 2.5 oz cover the women side, and a five piece variety set for men rounds the page out.
Lady Emblem is listed with 5 ml and 10 ml decants. The multi piece sets are the other way to try several Mont Blanc scents without committing to a full bottle of each.
