Orientica and the Amber Family

Orientica comes out of the Emirati perfume tradition and has become one of the most requested lines we carry, largely on the strength of a single idea executed several ways: amber. The Royal series and the Luxury Collection between them cover most of what people mean by that word, and the 80ml bottles are heavy gilded things that look entirely at home on a shelf.

Amber Rouge is the one people walk in asking for by name. Saffron and jasmine over a sweet ambery-woody drydown, loud in the best sense, and it holds up in heat in a way that matters here. Royal Amber is warmer and rounder, Amber Noir darker and smokier, and Royal Bleu takes the same house style into fresh aquatic territory for daytime. Oud Saffron leans hardest into resin and spice.

The Luxury Collection is where Orientica gets more ambitious. Azure Fantasy is bright, fruity and sparkling. Exclusive Dania is a plusher extrait de parfum with more weight behind it. If you cannot choose, the Luxury Collection Miniature Discovery set puts several of them in front of you at once.

One thing worth knowing: Orientica also bottles Royal Amber and Amber Rouge as 18ml perfume concentrate oils. Oil is a different experience from spray. It sits tight against the skin, lasts considerably longer and projects less, which makes it the better choice for close quarters or for layering underneath the matching eau de parfum. Several of our customers who work indoors have moved to the oils entirely.
