Salvatore Ferragamo left Italy as a teenager, spent the 1920s in California making shoes for film actors, and returned to Florence in 1927 with a reputation and a theory about how feet work. The house he built is still Florentine, and its fragrances tend to be prettier and more playful than the shoe archive would suggest.
Signorina, in the 3.4 oz eau de parfum, is the one we carry. It came out in 2011 and is best described as a dessert floral: pink pepper and currant at the opening, a panna cotta accord in the base with musk and patchouli underneath. It is sweet without being heavy, and it has stayed on shelves far longer than most releases of its year, which is usually a sign that people actually wear it rather than just receive it.
The bottle has the grosgrain bow on the cap, a small thing but part of the appeal.
The listing includes 5 ml and 10 ml decants. Ferragamo Uomo, the counterpart for men, sits on its own page on this site.
Order Signorina online for delivery, or come try it at the Miami Gardens store.
