Tom Ford started his beauty line in 2006 with Black Orchid and followed it a year later with Private Blend, a set of scents released without much explanation and aimed at people who wanted something loud in a quiet way. The house has kept that habit ever since: dense materials, glossy bottles, names that do half the work.
What we stock covers most of the arguments people have about the line. Tuscan Leather is the suede and raspberry one that smells like the inside of a brand new car.
