Then birch arrives and changes the character completely, laying a dry, smoky, faintly tarry line underneath the fruit. That fruit-and-smoke tension is the backbone of Supremacy Collector's Edition, and it is the same architecture that made this style of masculine so dominant over the last decade. Orange blossom softens the middle, and the finish is oakmoss, musk and ambergris - dry, mineral, a little salty, closer to a classic chypre than to a modern sweet fougere.

Seven to nine hours, with a strong opening that calms considerably after the first ninety minutes. Miami does something specific to fruity-smoky compositions like this one: humidity holds the pineapple aloft far longer than it would in dry air, so the bright opening stretches out rather than snapping shut, while the birch smoke gets softer and less scratchy than it smells indoors. The oakmoss base also resists the heat well - it does not go sour or thin at 90 degrees the way sweeter bases can. Practically speaking, this is one of the few bolder masculines you can actually wear at noon in July here without it turning against you.
