Sticky dates, cinnamon and burnt sugar - Khamrah smells like a dessert table at a winter wedding, and it has no interest in being subtle about it. The opening is all spice, cinnamon and nutmeg over a flash of bergamot, and it moves quickly into the part everyone buys it for: dried dates and praline, thick and boozy, with tuberose adding just enough floral lift to keep it from being pure candy. The drydown is vanilla, tonka, benzoin and myrrh, and it goes on for a very long time.

Top: Cinnamon, nutmeg, bergamot · Heart: Dates, praline, tuberose, mahonial · Base: Vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin, amberwood, myrrh, akigalawood

Ten to twelve hours is routine, and the sillage in the first three is substantial. Here is the honest Miami warning: this is a heavy gourmand, and gourmands are the single worst category for South Florida summer. Heat does not just make Khamrah stronger, it makes it thicker - the sugar and resins turn syrupy and can read as cloying in a humid room in July, and a normal three-spray application outdoors in August becomes something people notice from across a courtyard. Treat it as a cool-weather fragrance. From December through February, when the humidity finally drops and the evenings get to the low sixties, it is superb and one or two sprays is plenty. If you must wear it in summer, one spray, indoors, at night.

Evening wear, dinners, holidays, and any occasion where making an impression is the point. It is not office-safe in a shared space and it is not a beach fragrance.

Given how much of this a single spray delivers, a 5ml decant will outlast most people's expectations, and a 10ml is close to a season's supply. If you would rather smell it first, the Miami Gardens counter is the place to do it.
